MegaMan series

In the year 20XX, a brilliant scientist Dr. Light concieved the construction of fully-opperational human- like experimental robots to perform specific everyday duties. Dr. Light, and his assistant Dr. Wily, encouraged by their very first near-human robot MegaMan proceeded to develope six additional Humanoids, all programmed to perform tasks which humans cannot do. Soon later however, Dr. Wily turned disloyal, re-programming Dr. Light's Humanoids, now bent on destroying opposition so Dr. Wily can control the world and it's resources. (megaman could control his own actions) Resisting re-programming, MegaMan is chosen as the defender of the universe and its inhabitants. MegaMan dares to single-handedly penetrate the leaders and followers of these sovereignties.

I love this series so far. OK lets start off with saying this is capcom's 6th MegaMan series.Its Hundreds of years that passed since the battles between humans and Reploids. After fierce wars between the two sides, peace was finally restored and the two groups were able to establish various cooperative nations within the “Inner” area of the universe. However, danger zones remained in the undeveloped “Outer” section where independently evolved robots called “Mavericks” began wreaking havoc. A group called the Serpent Company scours the Outer universe to provide energy created from otherwise unattainable items to the Inner population and also serves to protect these peaceful nations from Maverick attacks over the years. On an excursion to the Outer region, they discover relics of ancient technologies in the ruins. These relics, called Biometals, are living, conscious materials, with records of information and weapon data from history housed within.

Battle Network

Well as for me i dont really care about this series but maybe you will:) In the year 20XX...Rapid advances in Internet Technology were made, creating the "network era". Everything is now connected to the huge new network world, in which you can navigate through using your PET (Personal Exploration Terminal) and with your NetNavi(Net Navigator). However as these new advances were made, network crime begins to rise. The story begins with a 5th grader named Lan Hikari, and his NetNavi MegaMan.EXE. With "WWW" (World 3) causing damage all over the Net, Lan and MegaMan.EXE are up to the challenge to defeating this crime orginization

MegaMan X the best series yet. In the year 21XX, a scientist named Dr. Cain, uncovers Dr. Lights laboratoty, finding "MegaMan X," the most advanced robot he has ever seen. Not knowing the dangers of making copies of X to create Reploids, a new breed of robots, they went haywire, due to this virus called the maverick virus, and began to attack humans. Quickly, X joins the Maverick Hunters, with his partner and best friend, Zero, they try to stop Sigma, the leader of the Mavericks, from destroying the planet!
